General Information Thrillseekers riverside base is only 5 minutes drive from Hanmer Springs township & just 300 metres from the Hanmer turnoff on state highway 7. The Thrillseekers Adventure Centre was opened in 1992 on it’s present site & provides employment for a number of people living in the area. The present site of the office & café offers spectacular views of the gorge & is the departure point for all river based activities & the bungy jump. Thrillseekers design their jetboats specifically to meet local river conditions. They are constructed entirely of aluminium & powered by 350 hp "chev" V8s pumping 286 litres of water per second through the jet unit. Travelling in as little as 10 centimetres of water the boats are designed to provide a maximum of safety & comfort for our passengers.
